“I feel fortunate to have worked with Lisa Moore and Christopher Bennem on a major book project. Early in the project, Lisa Moore helped me to think through ideas, and she challenged me to refine [my ideas] until they worked for a public audience—not just for me.  She effectively challenged me to think both more creatively and more critically.

“Later, when my co-authors and I worked with Christopher Bennem, his savvy editorial vision strengthened the project so that it stood out in a very competitive market.  He also guided us artfully as we adapted the project for a digital platform.  As a result, we crafted a project that has done well in both print and digital formats.”

Christopher Bennem and Lisa Moore each have over twenty years experience as publishing professionals, with expertise in trade, academic, and higher education. While each has a distinguished career in their own right, Chris and Lisa have been long-time collaborators and have helped authors and companies launch numerous innovative, award-winning, and best-selling print and digital projects in a variety of markets.

Together, they have had the privilege of being editors to some of the foremost teachers of writing in the country (including Janet Burroway, Alan Cheuse, Judith Ortiz Cofer, Nicholas Delbanco, Dana Gioia, Cheryl Glenn, Rebecca Moore Howard, Elaine Maimon, Duane Roen, Kathi Yancey, and many others).

As Co-Principals of Glen Hollow, Ink Chris and Lisa continue to lend others their expertise in developing thought-provoking content and ground-breaking software. With Glen Hollow, they have created a unique publishing services firm that also includes a revitalizing space in the Finger Lakes region of New York State which allows for writing retreats, workshops, and other events. Glen Hollow is an official partner of the Academy of American Poets, providing residence-retreats for winners of their Lenore Marshall Prize.

When not working on one of the many projects for Glen Hollow, Ink Christopher is hard at work on his own fiction, a multi-volume project called The Hidden Histories.
